Lamar United Methodist Church currently has six adult Sunday school classes meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Ambassadors' Class - 40's to early 60's age group - the class meets in the Choir room and they select their own study material.  Various members of the class take turns picking material and leading the class sessions.

Crosswise Class - 20's to early 40's age group - the class meets in the daycare room - led by Jerri Finley who usually picks the study material with suggestions from the class.  This is an active class, serving a waffle dinner as a fund raiser.

Fidelis Class - 60's to 90's age group - the class meets in the Fidelis room & their projects include sponsoring a graduation party for the alternative school students and providing Christmas for a needy child.  They use the Methodist Quarterly for study and Chris Elswick is the teacher.

Genesis Class - 30's to 50's age group - the class meets in the Genesis room upstairs in the older section of the building (1st room on right at top of stairs.)  The class members share leadership responsibilities and selection of study material.  Jeff Moyer and Jerry Thieman are the teachers.  This class hosts Bridal showers.

M.I.S.C. Class - College age & young married group - the class meets in the MISC room, opposite the infant nursery.  Kelly Hull is leader for the class and selects material in conjunction with class interests & desires.

Seekers Class - Late 30's to mid-50's age group - the class meets in The Parlor at the south end of the main hall.  Bruce Belline is the leader and chooses material for study.
