Methodist Men will meet Sunday, March 21, 7:30 a.m. in the FLC for a Breakfast Fellowship.

Our Purpose:    United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily His will.

(Our) primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relations.

The Lamar United Methodist Men unit usually meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month. This may vary when it falls on a holiday like Easter.  From April through October the meeting time is 7:30 a.m. in Family Life Center, and breakfast is served.  Starting in November and continuing through March, the meeting time is 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center, and dinner is served.  The men take turns with cooking chores. Agenda for meetings include any business, speaker, devotional, prayer, testimonies.

The UMM unit is chair-unit of the Community Christmas Dinner served every year from the Family Life Center; cooking for the all-church picnic; sponsoring an ice cream social during Fair week; and hosting the annual George Washington Dinner.

President is Curt Roland, and Treasurer is Tom Shields.  All men are welcome.
