Spiritual Health is a result of faith
through the teachings of the church.
Faith motivates us to examine ourselves and
establish our philosophy of life, our belief
and faith system. Motivation is tied
to how a person views life and such energy
is heightened when surrounded by like
thinking. Church is an ideal place to
receive such motivation.
Physical Wellness involves taking
care of ourselves which includes proper
nutritional intake, adequate rest, reducing
stress & regular physical exams.
Motivation and follow through are not easy.
Attitude is forming a Godlike
approach to life which can only lead to
happiness. As we know, "All things are
possible for those that love the Lord".
Mental Health involves thinking
through choices, solving problems and
forming an awareness of life and its
blessings. We may need to learn
alternative methods of coping in order to
process information and succeed.

Services
The LUMC Parish Nursing has medical
equipment for temporary loan.
Had a fall? Surgery? We have:
walkers, crutches, canes, a shower chair,
shower stool, and a bed side commode.
Transportation provided to the Doctor,
therapy, grocery store, pharmacy.
Information available for health facilities
and support groups.
